 The Kennebec River has a high volume release with big rolling waves, a great river for everyone including families and youth groups.
The river is controlled by a hydro dam guaranteeing daily class 4 whitewater releases from April through October.

- High Water Turbine Test release
dates and prices for 2010: June 19, July 5, Sept 11, 25 - $95 per person (minimum age is 16), all prices includes taxes.
- Minimum Age: 10 years (Full River), 16 Years (Turbine Test), 5 years (Half River Trip).
- Youth 10-16 years - $65 per person - excludes Saturdays in July & August and Turbine Test dates.
- Youth groups - Scouts, Camps, Church, High School and College Outings - $55 per person - excludes Saturdays in July & August and Turbine Test dates.
- Sport Rafts: 6 person sport raft add $20 per person; 4 person sport rafts add $30 per person. Sport
