 The Kennebec River has a high volume release with big rolling waves, a great river for everyone including families and youth groups.
The river is controlled by a hydro dam guaranteeing daily class 4 whitewater releases from April through October.

- High Water Turbine Test release dates and prices for 2012: June 16, July 9, Sept 8, 24 - $99 per person (minimum age is 12), prices include all taxes and fees.

- Youth 8 - 17 years - $54 per person - excludes Summer Saturdays ; $74 for Turbine Test dates (6/16, 7/9, 9/8, 9/22).
